    Description

    This auction features a tiny silver box inlaid with mother of pearl.  It has an attractive design around all four sides.  It is tiny, about 1" x 1 7/8" and is inlaid with velveteen inside.  I don't know if it is silver or not.  It looks like silver.  There is a mark on the bottom but I can't read it.  The bottom is not silver.  The box sparkles like silver and shines up with silver polish.  I think this is a hand made item.  I purchased it at an antique shop in Zanzibar some years ago.  The workmanship is very nice.  It would make a great gift box for a pair of nice earrings or a ring.
