Description
Imperial Russian Flatrware Set Ovchinnikov 1865Early Russian Flatware Set Ovchinnikov St Petersburg 1865 48 pieces 84 Standard Silver. The set consists of:
12 Dinner Forks 8\" 845 grams Samuel Filander 1867
12 Tablespoons 8 1/4\" 817 grams Pavel Ovchinnikov 1865
8 Dinner Knives 10 1/2\" Sasmuel Filander 1867
The carbon steel blades have the Imperial Warrant mark of грачевъ (Varipaev) on one side and М.ГРАЧЕВЪ on the other.
12 teaspoons 6\" 376 grams KF 1890
All but the teaspoons and 4 knives are monogrammed МБ (MB) under a Crown.
The Teaspoons are monogrammed ET
The 4 knives are monogrammed WH and are dated 1859.
A very nice assembled set, with the carbon steel blades being in good usable condition. The teaspoons, dated 1890, are a later addition but go nicely with the set. The 4 knives with the WH monogram go nicely with the set. The set is in very nice overall condition, with normal wear consistent with age. [wb3212]

All items are carefully packed and insured, with no handling or packing fees, ever. Please do not attempt to return an item due to shipping damage. Should it occur in spite of our careful packaging, this must be handled through the shipping agent with an insurance claim. We will be happy to assist in this. Always be sure to retain all original packaging if a claim is to be made as the shipping agent may request to examine it. That being said, in over 10 years of internet shipping, we have had only one damage claim. Shipping is usually done within 24 hours of the receipt of a cleared payment. Shipping may delayed for a few days if we are away from home at an Antique Show. Please feel free to contact us with any inquiries about our items or shipping. We will respond within 24 hours.
