Figural Candlesticks Sterling Silver Wallace 1890
American sterling silver candlesticks by Wallace Silversmiths, c.1900. These beautiful and festive candlesticks have a figural body depicting a young lady dressed in a Renaissance costume serving a Pig′s head roast on a platter. Measuring 6\" tall, 3 1/8\" in diameter and weigh a total of 209 grams (these candlesticks have a small weight under the base). Presentation inscription: Geo. Kuehl und Frau zur Silbernen Hochzeit 28 ten Oct. 1904 von Gust. Prasse, Otto Pampel Paul Seeler. The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering. [wb3810]
