American Red Cross Life Saving Service Pin

Description

This pin belonged to a dear friend who passed away at age 94.
I believe it dates back to the 30's but cannot state that with authority.
It doesn't appear to have been worn all that often as it's in great shape.
I believe it's nickel plate and enamel.
The photo of the back is a bit blurry.  It looks as if there may be something written on it, but it's blank.
The pin itself is in working condition.
I hope this can be a nice addition to someone's collection.
