    Description

    This spring applies tension to the “bottom” thread coming from the bullet-shaped bobbin case (shuttle) used in antique Singer VS2 and VS3 sewing machines. The small screw holds the spring in place on the shuttle and is also used to adjust the thread tension.
    If this spring breaks it usually happens at the small loop (photo two) where the screw attaches it to the shuttle, but the loop on this one is in good condition.
    These are genuine, antique SIMANCO parts (“SIMANCO” stands for “SInger MANufacturing COmpany”).
